NOTE
1) To live on borrowed time = alla lettera vivere in un tempo preso a prestito, in realtà è una locuzione idiomatica che significa avere i giorni contati, nel nostro caso il protagonista non essendo in agonia viveva da giovane ogni giorno come se fosse l’ultimo, come se la vita non glie ne concedesse altri, viveva l’oggi come se il domani non esistesse.
